On May 30th, 2025, the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, presented the prestigious National Florence Nightingale Awards to 15 exceptional nursing professionals. These awards honor their relentless service and commitment to public health and community welfare.

Union Health Minister Shri J. P. Nadda stated, "This recognition is a tribute to the nurses who are the pillars of our healthcare system."
