Exciting New Double-Decker Bus Service Arrives in Noida
Date: May 6, 2025
Noida is gearing up to launch a new double-decker bus service this month, a major leap forward for the city's public transit. This modern service will offer spacious, efficient travel, especially beneficial for students and professionals navigating the bustling urban corridors.
The inaugural route will run between Morna Depot and Pari Chowk, a high-traffic corridor famed for its commuter volume. Authorities may consider extending this route to Jewar, depending on ridership demand. The Uttar Pradesh Transport Department plans to introduce a fleet of 20 such buses statewide in the initial phase.
As passenger numbers continue to rise, these double-decker buses will considerably increase transport capacity on this vital route. While regular CNG buses currently operate between Morna Depot, Pari Chowk, and Jewar, these new buses promise enhanced comfort and convenience for daily commuters.
According to reports from Jagran.com, state officials recently approved this initiative during a high-level meeting. Depot teams are actively preparing for a seamless launch. If the trial is a success, more double-decker buses are expected to roll out to meet the growing demand.
This development not only addresses capacity concerns but also signals a commitment to improving the commuter experience in Noida. With increased seating and better amenities, the double-decker buses are poised to become a popular choice for city residents battling daily traffic.
