Why Anemia is a National Concern

What is Anemia?

Anemia is a condition where your blood has a lower-than-normal amount of healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin. This results in reduced oxygen flow to the body’s organs.

Symptoms: Fatigue, breathlessness, dizziness, cold hands/feet.

High-Risk Groups: Children under 5, adolescent girls, pregnant & lactating women.
